Happy Administrative Professional’s Day!

Mary Barrett, the former National Secretaries Association president, and C. King Woodbridge, the Dictaphone Corporation president, came up with the idea for a day to honor secretaries. As jobs and titles changed, so did the name of the special day.

You should always be thankful for administrative professionals, but face it. You are likely to take them for granted most of the time. Since today has this special designation, take a moment to thank them. It also doesn’t hurt to sweeten your gratitude with flowers, candy, a meal, and if you can afford it, a cash bonus!
