My husband Wally and I generally go out to an early dinner on New Year's Eve then come home, turn on the TV, and watch the ball drop in Time's Square. Not exciting, I know, but it's what we enjoy. On New Year's Day, we enjoy a traditional southern dinner of pork chops, black-eye peas, turnip greens, and sweet potatoes.
New Year's Day is the perfect time to reflect on faith, relationships, and work. Wally and I are happy to have the sweetest daughters, sons-in-law, and granddaughters we could ever ask for, and we hope to spend even more time with them in 2013!
